A char-toon is a simple animated cartoon in which each frame of the movie is a single line of plain text characters. To view a char-toon, first choose one of the sample char-toons with the buttons below or type or paste your own text into the input text area. Then use the ">" button to step through the text one line at a time. GO SLOW - two clicks per second, pausing at titles.
You can also view a char-toon text file with a plain text editor, such as Notepad: just shrink the editor window to show only one line of text and then use the scroll-down button.
